What is Aadhar Card?

Aadhar Card or UID Card has a 12 digit unique identification number. UDAI issues it only after verifying biometric, demographic and other data of the citizens of India.

  • Solution to Shortage of Storage in Phone: If there is not sufficient space in your mobile to receive a message, then it is for sure that you won't be able to receive OTP. Delete useless messages and then again request for the OTP.
  • Check the enrollment status : Once you are done with submitting the required details, you can check the status of Aadhar Card online on UIDAI website using the enrollment number assigned to you. It will tell you whether you have been allotted Aadhar Card number or not.

Procedure to update Aadhar Card details

  • Go to UIDAI's official website

Validating E-Aadhar Signature

The e-Aadhar Card gets downloaded in PDF format and to open it you will require Adobe or Acrobat Reader and a PIN code of the address submitted by you to the UIDAI.
You will notice UIDAI's signature in the form of a yellow question mark. So now to validate your Aadhar card you need to verify this sign.

  • Then a dialog box titled Certificate Viewer with different tabs will appear on the screen.
  • Select the Trust tab and then click on Add to Trusted Certificates.
  • Again a dialog box will be shown on the screen, click OK, and you will be directed to Import Contact Settings dialog box.
  • Now two options will be displayed on the screen, ‘Use this certificate as a trusted root’ and ‘Certified documents’ select them and click OK.
  • Again Certificate Viewer dialog box will appear on the screen. Click on OK
  • A Signature Properties dialog box will be shown on the screen. Click on ‘Validate Signature.'
  • Close the dialog box. Now you will notice a green tick is present on the screen instead of that yellow question mark.

To receive Aadhar Card details on Mobile number.

  • Go to the official UIDAI website.
  • Scroll down to Aadhar Services section; now you will be directed to Aadhar Kiosk Page.
  • Here select the 'Get Aadhar' option and choose 'Get Aadhar on Mobile’ section.
  • Fill in all the basic details like enrollment number, security code and registered mobile number.
  • Click on Get OTP.
  • You will receive OTP on the registered mobile number, enter the same on the screen.
  • All the details will be received on your mobile phone through SMS.

How to add registered mobile number on Aadhar card?
